$30-$35 per hour (commensurate on experience and abilities)

The Position

  • The foreman/woman will work with approximately four other technicians, supporting and leading the team.

  • Install landscape construction and horticultural projects from start to completion based on plans and support provided by designers and project managers.

  • Plan your day and workflow, planning tools and materials needed with support from project managers.

  • Delegate work efficiently and support technician training and development.

  • Involves supervision, and commitment to the installation of high-quality landscape projects in a timely manner.

  • Requires some equipment operation including mini excavators, skid steers, loaders and others.

  • Manage and organize all paperwork received on-site like shipping statements and receipts.

  • This position involves working 45–50-hour work weeks, with 12 scheduled Saturdays split between the spring and fall.

  • This position requires a commitment to a safe workplace, and familiarity with the Workplace Safety Act.

  • You will be required to get to and from our King City office by your own means of transportation.

  • Mobilizing from our office to job sites will be with company vehicles on paid time.

Essential Requirements

  • 3 years+ in landscape construction

  • Experience with heavy and light equipment and tools such as rotary lasers, concrete saws, and excavators.

  • Class G or higher license 

  • Experience driving trucks and trailers

  • Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.

  • Teamwork and communication skills

 

Additional Assets include:

  • Experience safely chaining and floating heavy equipment

  • Leadership experience 

  • Horticulture experience 

  • Carpentry experience 

  • Pond and waterfall construction experience

  • First aid training
